Teletskaya school of youth ecotourism – Berendei Project

Ecocamp project “Berendei”, initiated by teachers of Gorno-Altaisk school №12 and experts from the Altai Republic’s Center for Youth Policy, is very young – it was launched in the Altaiskiy Biosphere Reserve in 2011. Apart from getting familiar with natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Altaiskiy Biosphere Reserve and Yailu settlement, schoolchildren and teachers actively participate in the improvement of the Yailu territory and conservation of historical monuments of Lake Teletskoye - a distinctive feature of the Project that helps it stand out among other projects.
